What inspired or influenced you to write this piece?
This poem came from an exercise to create a personal timeline. I wrote it at a time when I was really curious about memory and storytelling, especially through the lens of disorder.
How would you describe your artistic style? What do you wish to accomplish with your art?
I become obsessed with phrases or words, then try to explore what makes them resonate personally by building poems around them. There’s a lot of collage work involved.
Tell us a little bit about your current artistic projects.
I’m currently trying to write small, quiet poems. Poems that are less rigid and insistent. Poems that are more breath and less body.
